Montlake

Montlake is an affluent residential neighborhood in central Seattle. It is bounded to the north by Portage Bay and the Montlake Cut section of the Lake Washington Ship Canal, to the east by the Washington Park Arboretum, and to the south and west by Interlaken Park. Capitol Hill is on its south, Eastlake on the west, and the University District to the north.

The Montlake Cult

A couple dozen residents gathered in West Mountlake park under a strange red lamp installed by the waterside. There they felt a sense of religious zeal and began performing quiet ceremonies in poorly spoken Coptic. With the loss of the lamp, they have disbanded.

Tilt: Mundanity

This close knit community and strong streak of NIMBY-ism, those who upset established order are not welcome. Compromise rolls for acting out of character suffer a -1 penalty within the borders of Montlake.
